Those attending the festival commemorated the lives of Ethem Sarısülük, Mehmet Ayvataş and Abdullah Cömert who lost their lives in the anti-government protests in Turkey. They also remembered the police officer Mustafa Sarı who died after falling from an overpass during the demonstrations.
The Çapulcu Parade
The Çapulcu Parade of costumes prepared by the famous Turkish fashion designer Barbaros Şansal attracted great interest at the festival. The mannequins in the parade used gas masks and helmets decorated with flowers as accessories.
